Quantity Surveyor- Cork
General building contractor with impeccable reputation amongst staff and clients are looking for a Quantity Surveyor to join the Commercial team. This Cork based contractor prides themselves on being innovative with their method and design and integrating these into their projects. They have established themselves across several areas, education, healthcare, industrial, commercial, residential, heritage and conservation and they also have a civils division.
The Role
- Take on responsibility for numerous projects and work closely with the project team throughout delivery
- Cost Management, ensuring the projects remains in budget
- Prepare tendering projects
- Providing support within Project Monitoring
- Contract Administration
- Effective management of main contract and subcontract accounts
- Preparing interim valuations, identifying and valuing variations
- Dealing with Contractual matters
Quantity Surveyors Criteria
- Degree Qualified in QS or Construction Management
- 6+ years’ experience
- Highly motivated hard-working individual who can work on their own or as part as a team
- Proficient in Microsoft excel and project
