Inform recruitment are recruiting for a well-established Electrical Engineering Contractor, based in County Meath, who are looking for a Quantity Surveyor ideally with knowledge. Of the electrical industry.

The successful candidate should demonstrate a positive proactive approach to work, and will be committed to delivering customer service excellence, with high standard commercial results.

Main Responsibilities of the Role:

• Prepare cost budgets and cost estimates for business contracts.
• Undertake site surveys and collate detailed, relevant information.
• Keep existing contracts up-to-date, including making amendments, providing new cost estimates and maintaining communication with the client.
• Keep detailed records of all documentation, including site assessments and contract terms.
• Maintain budgets for contracts.
• Evaluate/select subcontract tenders.
• Prepare, negotiate and agree final accounts with subcontractors.
• Prepare cost budgets and process for contract variations.
• Produce and present project cost/value reports.
• Collaborate with other departments within the business to improve cost effectiveness and ensure timely delivery of projects whilst providing cost advice on any aspect of the contract when required.

Qualifications and Skills for the Role:

• Hold a Degree/HND/HNC level qualification in a relevant subject to the role.
• Have 4+ years’ experience in a similar role.
• Have basic knowledge of the electrical industry.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Confidence in speaking with clients.
• Well organised and ability to work towards tight deadlines.
• Highly motivated with a positive approach to work.
