Quantity Surveyor – Co Tyrone
The Company
Based on the border of Tyrone and Antrim, this client is well known for their longevity in the market and their operations spreading from NI, ROI to the UK. They work across all areas of building and property development; they have a large workforce delivering the standards they are associated with. With a turnover closely touching £100 million you will be joining an established brand leading the way and have the opportunity to embed yourself into the commercial team and work with NI’s top talent.
The Role
- Preparing and Analysing costings for tenders
- Preparing tender and contract documents, including BOQ with the architect and client.
- Cost analysis for repair and maintenance project work.
- Performing risk, value management and cost control
- Identifying and analysing, developing responses to commercial risks.
- Allocating work to subcontractors
- Writing detailed progress reports
Criteria
- Degree qualified in QS
- Main contracting experience
- 5+ years’ experience
- Ability to work independently and part of a team
- Proficient in Microsoft Packages
