Are you a self-motivated and talented Quantity Surveyor looking to develop further in your career and join an innovative and forward-thinking business? If so, keep reading!

A successful company based in the Dublin area have now got an exciting opportunity for an individual to join their team. They are looking for a Quantity Surveyor with at least 3-5 years’ experience to help with their ever-growing requirement for commercial work.  

Responsibilities of the Role:

  • Be responsible for all cost control procedures, including managing and controlling the budget and valuations.
  • Maintain budget control throughout different projects.
  • Complete accurate costing for each for each aspect of the projects.
  • Effectively manage the commercial aspects of projects, including valuations, budget monitoring and contract variations.
  • Ensure compliance with all legal requirements, including contractual and legislative.
  • Work within a team of talented professionals ensuring co-ordination and provision across all aspects of project delivery.
  • Assess, review and mitigate commercial and contractual risks.
  • Promote collaborative and effective teamworking within the client environment.
  • Undertake pre-contract setup, including forecasting, measurement and sub contract tendering.

Qualifications and Experience:

The successful individual should hold a degree level qualification in a relevant subject to the job title. Must have a good level of experience working for at least 3-5 years in a similar role. A good level of knowledge relating to the construction industry is very beneficial.

  • Have good organisational skills with the ability to work well within tight deadlines.
