Quantity Surveyor -Cork
Award winning building and civil contractor have an opening for a Quantity Surveyor with over 4-5 years experience working for a main contractor.
With projects all over Ireland and based in Co Cork this contractor has established itself within the industry and you will be undertaking major projects and provided the tools and training for further development.
The project you will be assisting the Senior Quantity Surveyor on a large residential project with an expected completion time of 2 years.
This role is site based, and you will have the opportunity first hand to build relationships with the site staff and have an overall detailed perspective into all the running's of the project.
The Role:
- Tender pricing and take off
- Commercial management of projects
- Monthly valuation preparation
- Cost control of projects
- Procurement & placement of bespoke material costs
- Relationship building with subcontractors, design team, and suppliers
The Criteria:
- Degree in Quantity Surveying or Equivalent
- 5+ years experience
- Main Contracting experience is essential
- Proficient with IT Packages
- Excellent communication skills and team ethos
- Driver License
