Quantity Surveyor Belfast £25-30K

Are you a passionate Quantity Surveyor with knowledge of the building services and M&E industry?
Your background and experience, together with an industry recognised qualification, will be rewarded for working hard on a varied portfolio of M&E projects.
Key Responsibilities of the Role:
- Complete cost forecasting, review, monitoring and reporting for M&E projects.
- Manage and approve subcontractor monthly calculations and final accounts.
- Work well and contribute within the commercial team on business projects.
- Play a supporting role in pre-tender stage of projects.
- Assess, review and mitigate commercial and contractual risks.
- Attend any meetings within the commercial team, and site progress meetings.
- Attending site and undertaking valuations ad cost reports.
Skills needed for the Role:
- Excellent presenting and communication skills.
- Ability to work to own initiative.
- Ability to work well and contribute within a team.
- Hold good mathematical and analytical skills.
- Have good organisation skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines.
Experience and Knowledge:
The ideal candidate should have around 2 years’ experience in a similar role, and hold a Degree/HND/HNC qualification in a relevant subject. Knowledge surrounding the M&E industry would be beneficial for the role.
