The Company
Building and Civils Contractor based in Co Cork are looking for a site-based Quantity Surveyor to join the commercial team. This award-winning contractor works in both building and civils across residential, commercial, industrial multimillion-euro projects.
You will be based in Kildare on an industrial project doing all groundworks, retaining walls, floor area, portal frame. There will be further opportunities on this site as it progresses with further expansion works. If you have 3-5 years experience this would be an ideal role for you to embed yourself into a leading contractor with ample opportunities for career progression.
The Role
- Preparation and updating of contact budget
- Responsible for contractual and legal aspects of project
- Liaison with Surveying Manager
- Administration of contract records
- Production of monthly JCR’s and JCS’s
- Attendance at contractor handover meeting
- Attendance at bi-weekly contract review meetings
- Updating of cash reporting and collection
- Identification of risks and completion of risk management plan
- Relationship with clients, supply chain and professional team
What you need
- Degree in QS or relevant field
- 3-5 years experience
- IT Proficient
- Excellent communicator
