The Company
Building and Civils Contractor based in Co Cork are looking for a site-based Quantity Surveyor to join their commercial team. This award-winning contractor works in both building and civils across residential, commercial, industrial multimillion-euro projects.
You will be site based and based in Cork on a residential project with a timeline of 2 years. If you have 3-5 years’ experience this would be an ideal role for you to embed yourself into a leading contractor with ample opportunities for career progression.
The Role
- Preparation and updating of contact budget
- Responsible for contractual and legal aspects of project
- Liaison with Surveying Manager
- Administration of contract records
- Production of monthly JCR’s and JCS’s
- Attendance at contractor handover meeting
- Attendance at bi-weekly contract review meetings
- Updating of cash reporting and collection
- Identification of risks and completion of risk management plan
- Relationship with clients, supply chain and professional team
What you need
- Degree in QS or relevant field
- 3-5 years’ experience
- IT Proficient
- Excellent communicator
