The Company
Specialist Subcontractor expanding their office staff due to rapid growth and increasing portfolio of projects. Working for Contractors and Developers predominantly in Southern Ireland and they have also undertaken projects in the UK.
You will work closely with the Directors and take responsibility for all commercial aspects of each project. Salary and package will reflect experience. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a busy fast paced environment within a small team unit.
The Role
- The Senior QS will take on responsibility for numerous projects and work closely with the project team throughout delivery
- Cost Management, ensuring the projects remains in budget
- Prepare tendering projects
- Providing support within Project Monitoring
- Contract Administration
- Effective management of main contract and subcontract accounts
- Preparing interim valuations, identifying and valuing variations
- Dealing with Contractual matters
What you need
- Third level qualification in QS or Construction management.
- 7+ years’ experience
- Cost management & administration skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft excel and project
- Ability to work independently and on own initiative
