The Company
Building contractor have grown considerably in the 5 years and are keen to get a quantity surveyor on a full-time basis to join their team!
Ideally you will have a few years’ experience post grad and ready to make the transition from Junior QS to Intermediate. You will manage your own workload and help develop the role as the company grows. Perfect opportunity for someone living locally who is interested in investing in the longevity of their career.
The work is in NI and some in England, no travel will be required.
The Role
- Preparation and updating of contact budget
- Responsible for contractual and legal aspects of project
- Liaison with Surveying Manager
- Administration of contract records
- Production of monthly JCR’s and JCS’s
- Attendance at contractor handover meeting
- Attendance at bi-weekly contract review meetings
- Updating of cash reporting and collection
- Identification of risks and completion of risk management plan
- Relationship with clients, supply chain and professional team
Criteria
- Degree in Quantity Surveying
- 3+years’ experience
- Ability to manage workload
- Proficient in Microsoft packages
- Excellent written and verbal communication.
