The Company
Construction company delivering projects up to the value of £20 million are looking for Quantity Surveyor to join the commercial team. Projects are inclusive of office developments, retail, heritage and listed buildings, residential, apartments/ bespoke housing, industrial, healthcare and sports & Leisure.
The Role
- Preparation and updating of contact budget
- Responsible for contractual and legal aspects of project
- Liaison with Senior Management
- Administration of contract records
- Production of monthly JCR’s and JCS’s
- Attendance at contractor handover meeting
- Attendance at bi-weekly contract review meetings
- Updating of cash reporting and collection
- Identification of risks and completion of risk management plan
- Relationship with clients, supply chain and professional team
What you need
- Third level qualification in QS or Construction management.
- 4+ years’ experience
- Cost management & administration skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft excel and project
- Analytical thinker with demonstrated problem solving skills.
- Weekly Travel will be required.
