The Company
Specialist contractor based in Meath and working across Ireland & UK on predominantly commercial projects are looking for an intermediate quantity surveyor. This role is office based and there will not be travel required. A family led company with family values and recognition for their staff. You will be the sole surveyor reporting into the Contracts Manager and working alongside an Estimator. There is a lot of room for movement to progress and develop the role yourself.
The Role
- Complete take off quantities and assist in tender preparations.
- Produce BOQs.
- Oversee and run reports for measurements and variances.
- Prepare and submit weekly financial reports.
- Monthly cost/value reconciliation.
- Run multiple projects at the one time.
- Prepare and submit variations, final accounts and contract documentation.
- Advise management on contractual matters.
- Attend site meetings and work closely with Project team.
What you need
- Degree in QS or equivalent
- Excellent IT Skills
- Proactive and Flexible working approach and ability to adapt
- 4+ years’ experience
