The Company
A fantastic opportunity to work for one of Irelands largest mixed-use developers for a Quantity Surveyor. Working on large scale residential project. You will be joining a well-established contractor working on projects with a value of €100+ million. This company place focus on nurturing talent and developing skills and expertise!
The Role:
- Producing Bills of Quantities
- Cash flow management of projects
- Site visits
- Site meetings
- CVR's and monthly cost reporting
- Price/forecast the cost of the different materials needed for the project
- Prepare tender documents, contracts, budgets, bills of quantities and other documentation
- track changes to the design and/or construction work and adjust budget projections accordingly
- Procure or agree the services of contractors and/or subcontractors who work on the construction of the project
- Measure and value the work done on site
- Liaise with the client and other construction professionals, such as site managers, project managers and site engineers
- Select and/or source construction materials
- Ensuring accurate reporting
You will have:
- Relevant degree qualification
- 3-5 years’ experience
- Experience working with a Main contractor/developer
- Excellent communication- verbal and written
