The Company
Building & Civils Contractor seeking Quantity Surveyor based in Dublin.
Their projects include full range of construction services, and can be anything up to €30 million.
Top contractor with impeccable reputation, good variety in their projects, a progressive company working across Ireland and the UK.
Responsibilities
- Issuing subcontractor enquiries and then generating comparisons for review by Directors
- Preparing progress applications and cost reports
- Reporting to management on the financial progression of projects
- Responsible for project cost controls
- Actively work with Project Managers relating to contract variations
- Final Account negotiations etc
Requirements
- 3rd level Qualification in Quantity Surveying/Construction economics
- 3+ years’ experience with a main contractor
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work on own initiative
- Experience with public work contracts
