The Company
Small local specialist sub-contractor looking for Junior Quantity Surveyor with 2+ years’ experience.
This contractor has been around for more than 30 years and in that time established a reputation for high quality and an efficient service to their clients.
This role will expose you to a niche market within Construction, and provide you with experience that will promote your growth as a professional Quantity Surveyor.
The Role
- Preparing, negotiating and analysing costs for tenders and contracts
- Preparation of Interim valuations and final account
- Managing and valuing variations
- Production of monthly Cost Value Reconciliation on contracts
- Establish, maintain and enhance effective working relationships
- Plan, allocate and evaluate work carried out by teams, individuals and yourself
What you need
- Third level qualification in QS or Construction management.
- 2+years’ experience
- Proficient in Microsoft excel and project
- Driven Team player
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
