Quantity Surveyor – North Dublin
The Company
With a turnover of over €60 million, you will be joining a successful contractor with ample opportunities for progression in your career. Working on projects such as power, gas, water, all utilities and telecoms.
You will be working on multimillion euro projects with high profile clients, and be able to share in the success of this contractor in terms of a very competitive salary and package.
The Role
- Delivering quality projects that are on time and budget
- Support the delivery of projects across all aspects of the business in relation to construction
- Delivering projects to specification,
- Strong emphasis with health and safety on compliance, reporting, and documentation.
- Assist in the identification of commercial risks and opportunities and carry out value engineering exercises as required.
- Prepare and manage material procurement schedules.
- Encourage and develop a culture of contractual awareness and ensure that contracts are fulfilled by rigidly maintaining records, contractual notifications, change control, etc
- Prepare internal cost/value reports for upper management and other departments
What you need
- Degree in QS/ Construction/Engineering or related.
- 5years experience
- Experience in utilities
- Experience with reading of design.
