Quantity Surveyor – Cookstown
The Company
Award winning Construction company looking for a Quantity Surveyor with some experience within the building sector. You will work locally on projects with no overseas travel involved.
You will work on both public and private contracts, working on refurbishment, residential, commercial, restoration, industrial, property development.
Responsibilities
- Issuing subcontractor enquiries and then generating comparisons for review by Directors
- Preparing progress applications and cost reports
- Reporting to management on the financial progression of projects
- Responsible for project cost controls
- Actively work with Project Managers relating to contract variations
- Final Account negotiations etc
Requirements
- 3rd level Qualification in Quantity Surveying/Construction economics
- 4+ years’ experience
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work on own initiative
- Experience with public work contracts
