Quantity Surveyor – Cork
The Company
Civils contractor working on roads, bridges, groundworks, utilities and civil engineering projects are looking for a Quantity Surveyor with at least 7 years’ experience. Based full time in the office with occasional site travel as and when needed. Ideally you will come from Civils background with strong knowledge of public work contracts.
The Role:
- Preparing and Analysing costings for tenders
- Preparing tender and contract documents
- Cost analysis
- Performing risk, value management and cost control
- Identifying and analysing, developing responses to commercial risks.
- Allocating work to subcontractors
- Writing detailed progress reports
What you'll need:
- Degree either QS or Construction related
- 7+ years’ experience
- Experience within civils
- Proficient in IT packages
