Quantity Surveyor- Dublin
The Company
Tier 1 main contractor based within Dublin have exciting projects in the pipeline for 2022 and are expanding their commercial team in order to facilitate their successful workload.
The projects are inclusive of pharma and data centres, mostly commercial work, you will be assigned to a particular project and bring it from initial steps to conclusion.
Looking for an individual with at least 3-4 years’ experience, someone very team driven.
Job Duties
- Provide commercial assurance of project margin performance through accurate forecasting and identification of issues giving rise to commercial risk, management of commercial performance and cash flow.
- Reviewing contracts, managing contract execution and negotiating agreements
- Contract Administrator,
- Improve and implement best practice commercial processes and accurate budgeting. Input of project budgets to cost management system and tracking of same over project life span.
- Maintain accurate and real time P&L reports on projects
- Responsible for Tender and Contract delivery strategy.
- Management of the Client relationships from a commercial perspective
- Proactive engagement with the Company’s Project Managers on all live projects,
- Ensure the Construction Team is adhering to all Contractual requirements and providing advice and monitoring of same.
- Responsible for timely issue of interim and final accounts and progress applications per project and contract requirements.
- Sign off on subcontract packages, appointments, program, variations & claim accounts, defects and abatement issues.
- Preparing delay, loss and expense claims
- Defend against claims for accelerations, disruption or losses.
- Prepare and agree final account settlements.
Criteria
- Degree qualified in QS
- 3-5 years’ experience
- Ability to work independently and part of a team
- Proficient in Microsoft Packages
- Full Clean Driver License.
