Quantity Surveyor- Co Roscommon
Local Building Contractor with projects in the East and the West have a vacancy for a Quantity Surveyor with at least 4 years’ experience. Looking for someone to assist on the commercial aspects of residential projects and you will be based in the office and travel on site as and when required.
This is a perfect role for someone looking to expand their experience within the building sector.
The Role
- Preparing, negotiating and analysing costs for tenders and contracts
- Ensure sub-contractors are pre-qualified in accordance with management systems
- Procurement of sub-contractors and preparation of sub-contractor order documentation
- Assessing and certification of sub-contractor interim payments
- Preparation of Interim valuations and final account
- Managing and valuing variations
- Production of monthly Cost Value Reconciliation on contracts
- Establish, maintain and enhance effective working relationships
- Plan, allocate and evaluate work carried out by teams, individuals and yourself
What you need
- Degree Qualified in Quantity Surveying
- 4+years’ experience
- Proficient in Microsoft excel and project
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
