The Company
Working on projects such as schools, universities, health, residential, community projects and leisure. You will get well rounded variety of experience on a variety of different projects. There is a strong team of Quantity Surveyors to support you on projects. This client works on both public and private building contracts, their services extend from NI to England, Scotland and Wales with a robust portfolio of clients.
Role
- Assisting in preparing, negotiating and analysing costs for tenders and contracts
- Ensure sub-contractors are pre-qualified in accordance with management systems
- Procurement of sub-contractors and preparation of sub-contractor order documentation
- Assessing and certification of sub-contractor interim payments
- Preparation of Interim valuations and final account
- Assist in managing and valuing variations
- Assisting the Senior QS in the production of monthly Cost Value Reconciliation on contracts
- Establish, maintain and enhance effective working relationships
What you need
- Third level qualification in QS or Construction management.
- 3+years’ experience
- Proficient in Microsoft excel and project
- Driven Team player
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
