Salary - €50K - €60K plus package
About the Company:
Our client who specialises in interior fit-out within the retail, hospitality, leisure, visitor centres and workplace sectors are currently on the lookout for a Quantity Surveyor to join their team.
They are looking an Intermediate level Quantity Surveyor to join their expanding company and they will have the ability to work both independently and within a team, have strong communication skills, and have strong leadership qualities.

The role is based in their offices in County Meath as well as working from home with the requirement of being able to travel to client sites for ongoing projects.
The Role:
- Preparing, negotiating and analysing costs for tenders and contracts.
- Ensure sub-contractors are pre-qualified in accordance with management systems.
- Procurement of sub-contractors and preparation of sub-contractor order documentation.
- Assessing and certification of sub-contractor interim payments.
- Preparation of Interim valuations and final account.
- Managing and valuing variations.
- Production of monthly Cost Value Reconciliation on contracts.
- Establish, maintain and enhance effective working relationships.
- Plan, allocate and evaluate work carried out by teams, individuals and yourself.
Requirements:
- Third level qualification in Quantity Surveying or Construction management.
- 3+ years’ experience with a Main Contractor in the Building Sector in NI or ROI.
- Proficient in Microsoft excel and project.
- Driven Team player.
- Excellent verbal and non-verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrates commercial awareness – market, competition, value for money.
- Strong numeracy and report writing skills.
