Our client here at Inform3 to join a specialist Fit Out Contractor that has been nominated and presented with countless awards for their top-quality projects require a Quantity Surveyor to join their team.
The client is seeking candidates that are like minded with regarding pride in their work and ensuring projects are finished to perfection.
The Quantity Surveyor will have the ability to work both independently and within a team, have strong communication skills, and have strong leadership qualities.
The Role:
- Preparing, negotiating and analysing costs for tenders and contracts.
- Ensure sub-contractors are pre-qualified in accordance with management systems.
- Procurement of sub-contractors and preparation of sub-contractor order documentation.
- Assessing and certification of sub-contractor interim payments.
- Preparation of Interim valuations and final account.
- Managing and valuing variations.
- Production of monthly Cost Value Reconciliation on contracts.
- Establish, maintain and enhance effective working relationships.
- Plan, allocate and evaluate work carried out by teams, individuals and yourself.
Requirements:
- Third level qualification in Quantity Surveying or Construction management.
- 3+ years’ experience with a Main Contractor in the Building Sector in NI or ROI.
- Proficient in Microsoft excel and project.
- Driven Team player.
- Excellent verbal and non-verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrates commercial awareness – market, competition, value for money.
- Strong numeracy and report writing skills.
