Inform3 are recruiting for a reputable developer who are active on residential projects at €5m-€10m in both Wexford and North Cork. The role would require travel to County Cork once a month.
Job Title: Quantity Surveyor
Job Location: Wexford
Sector: Residential
Salary: €50,000 - €80,000 D.O.E.
The Role
- Preparing, negotiating and analysing costs for tenders and contracts
- Ensure sub-contractors are pre-qualified in accordance with management systems
- Procurement of sub-contractors and preparation of sub-contractor order documentation
- Assessing and certification of sub-contractor interim payments
- Re-measurement of Bills of Quantities
- Carrying out Material Take-offs
- Preparation of Interim valuations and final account
- Managing and valuing variations
- Production of monthly Cost Value Reconciliation on contracts
- Establish, maintain and enhance effective working relationships
- Plan, allocate and evaluate work carried out by teams, individuals and yourself
Job Requirements
- Third level qualification in Quantity Surveying or Construction management.
- 5+ years’ experience with an Irish Building Contractor
- Ideally will have knowledge and experience with Residential contracts
- Proven record of working on projects valued over €5m
- Proficient in Microsoft excel and project
- Driven Team player
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
