Quantity Surveyor

INFORM Construction Recruitment has an exciting new opportunity for a Residential Property Developers based in North Dublin. The company has been operating over 30 years and has completed a number of developments throughout the County of Dublin. They have an opportunity for a Quantity Surveyor with a minimum of two years’ experience to join their established commercial department. Competitive salary and strong package.

Duties

• The role will initially be predominantly focused around the delivery of projects
• Assisting with ensuring robust commercial processes are in place.
• Assisting with a number of live projects or projects at pre-implementation phase.
• Management and control of sub-contract accounts and variation accounts.
• Assisting and liaising with the buyers on materials procurement.
• Measure progress, assist in submitting valuations, final accounts in a timely manner.
• Attend project and company related meetings.
• To carry out any other reasonable duties assisting other member of the QS team

Key requirements

• Commercial awareness and the willingness to learn / be part of a team.
• Minimum of two years’ experience
• A strong understanding of general IT systems (Microsoft Office, suite, excel.)
• An understanding of cost and contract management systems.
