Quantity Surveyor - Belfast

Quantity Surveyor      Lisburn       £45-55K

INFORM3 Recruitment is actively recruiting for a Quantity Surveyor for our client in the Lisburn area. As the QS you will ensure the project adheres to its budgets and remains value for money on a project-by-project basis.

To be successful in the role you will ideally be degree certified in a relevant subject, with at least 5 years’ commercial experience performing in a similar role within the construction sector.

Main Responsibilities:

• Take ownership of quantity surveying duties for assigned projects
• Preparing budget estimates/cost plans
• Preparing bills of quantities
• To ensure the timely submission of all relevant data required
• To assist the Construction Manager with other required duties
• Preparing costs for variations
• Producing monthly valuations

Qualifications, skills and experience:

• 5+ years of Quantity Surveying experience in the Construction Sector
• BSc in Quantity Surveying, similar level degree or vocational qualification
• A high level of negotiation skills.
• Excellent workload management skills
• Knowledge of construction contracts.
