Junior Quantity Surveyor required for a medium sized builder who delivers a variety of building and civil engineering projects. Office located in the Athlone area.

INFORM3 Construction recruitment is delighted to be working with a highly reputable medium sized builder based close to the Athlone area. Due to their continued success, our client has the requirement to build their commercial team. The successful applicant will be working with the companies Senior Quantity Surveyor, who has been with the business for close to 5 years now. Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the team in managing contract requirements.
• Prepare contract documents like bills of quantities etc.
• Dealing/liaising with clients, architects and anyone else involved in the process.
• Negotiation and analysis of costs for tenders/contracts.
• Production of information and detailed findings into reports
• Adhere to health and safety regulations.
• Produce accurate reports engaging with Sub-Contractors (quotes, raising S/C orders & processing applications for payment).
• Prepare & submit project budgets.
• Working with Project Manager & Site Team to ensure tight cost control.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Degree Qualified in Quantity Surveying or similar relevant Construction Management Degree.
• You will be highly motivated and eager to learn
• Ideally have experience working on Civil Engineering projects
• Willingness to assume additional responsibilities in keeping with project requirements.
• Competent in information technology and in particular, relevant construction related packages.
• Team player.
• Well-developed communication skills.
• Problem solving ability.
• Ability to meet deadlines.
• Flexible approach to working hours and site locations in keeping with Company requirements.
