Junior Quantity Surveyor – Meath
A new opportunity for a Junior QS has opened up in a reputable company in Meath with an impressive portfolio of clients, and projects in residential, commercial and civil engineering. The role you undertake will be supporting the Commercial Management team, you will be provided with training and experience in order to progress your career. This is a great opportunity for you to work on multi million projects, based locally to Meath.
The Job:
- Setting up and managing commercial change controls
- Identifying variations
- Making applications for payment.
- Preparing B of Qs under various methods of measurement
- Compiling estimates and quotations
- Assessing materials, labour and equipment requirements & analysing different quotes from sub-contractors and suppliers
- Sourcing and Procuring Specialist Trades & Labour, High Quality Materials & Equipment
- Monitoring project schedules
The successful candidate will be/have all of the following:
- Educated with a Construction related qualification.
- Minimum 12 months work experience as a AQS or Quantity Surveyor.
- Ability to read and interpret drawings.
