Part Time Quantity Surveyor – Belfast
The Company
Small building contractor within Belfast/Antrim are looking for a Part time Quantity Surveyor.
This role will offer flexibility for a part time / permanent position. You will work closely with the Director and support the commercial aspects of the business.
You will work from the office based in Belfast and be required to visit sites. This role is perfect for an individual who has a few years’ experience behind them with a main contractor and has the ability to work of their own initiative.
Responsibilities
- Issuing subcontractor enquiries and then generating comparisons for review by Director
- Preparing progress applications and cost reports
- Reporting to management on the financial progression of projects
- Responsible for project cost controls
- Actively work with Project Managers relating to contract variations
- Final Account negotiations etc
Requirements
- 3rd level Qualification in Quantity Surveying/Construction economics
- 4+ years’ experience
- Strong operational skills
- Attention to detail.
- Good communication skills essential
