Inform are recruiting for a Revit/CAD Tech, required immediately to work as a team member based in Cork within a multidiscipline consultancy.

Good knowledge of Building Regulations and proficiency in BIM / Revit required.

 

Revit /Cad Tech Responsibilities

  • Provide support to the architectural and engineering design team.

  • Create and develop GA plans, detailed drawings, and follow the checking and self-checking process; issue drawings internally and externally, and manage electronic information.

  • Prepare architectural and structural 3D BIM models and extract 2D drawings as needed.

  • Conduct building and site surveys.

  • Prepare Planning Applications.

  • Prepare tender and construction documents.

  • Perform site inspections, including quality and Building Regulations inspections during the construction stage of the project.

  • Assist in managing projects from feasibility through to completion.

  • Assisting in the management of projects from feasibility through to completion

 

Revit /Cad Tech Requirements

  • Possess a relevant tertiary qualification in Engineering, Architecture, or Construction.

  • Demonstrate excellent technical knowledge and drafting skills.

  • Essential experience with Revit.

  • Essential experience with AutoCAD.

  • Must be versatile, an excellent team player, and dedicated to providing the highest level of service at all times.

  • Exhibit exceptional time management skills and the ability to work under pressure to meet strict deadlines.

  • Experience in developing general arrangement coordination drawings from feasibility to detailed construction stages.

  • Proven experience in coordinating process, mechanical, electrical, civil, and structural drawings with other design team members.

  • At least 4 years of relevant experience in a similar industry, such as architectural/engineering consultancy, with experience in both residential and commercial projects within the Irish/UK construction industry.

  • Strong knowledge of current Irish Building Regulations.

  • Capability to lead the design of both small and large-scale projects.

  • Ability to modify and improve existing designs to facilitate ease of construction.

  • Flexible approach to work with the ability to prioritize and manage time effectively.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects while ensuring all deadlines are met.

  • Proficient in English, including spoken, written, and technical aspects.

  • Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
