Road Supervisor – Northern Ireland

INFORM3 are looking to appoint a Road Supervisor, for a number of projects in Northern Ireland. The successful candidate will work for a contractor with a vast amount of experience and knowledge within the industry. The client has the highest respect for the staff and values their hard work and quality, and due to this they have retained numerous contracts throughout Northern Ireland.

The successful candidate with have experience in working with roads, particularly asphalt, tar and blacktop.

Road Supervisor Key Responsibilities

• Report into the Contracts Manager and Senior Management
• Manage and control the site team, ensuring projects are on schedule and to a high quality
• Order in supplies of Tar and Asphalt as and when necessary
• Complete measurements on the roads to ensure they are meeting with plans and report back any errors or obstacles to management
• Ensure each project is safe to carry out work and that the site team adheres to health and safety
• Attend site meetings as and when required
• Complete site paperwork
• Complete any other duties that are relevant

Required Qualifications/Experience

• 3 years plus experience in relevant Supervisor role
• Tarmacadam, Asphalt and Blacktop experience
• Excellent communicator
• Able to manage site teams
• Able to meet deadlines and targets
• Experience in heavy plant operations – desirable, not essential.
• Full Driving License
