Road Supervisor – Meath

 

INFORM3 are looking to appoint a Road Supervisor, for several projects in Meath and across Ireland. The successful candidate will work on behalf of a client with over 35 years’ experience in the construction industry. The client is a specialist within the construction industry specifically on road projects, they have a team with a great depth of knowledge and skills.

The client is seeking a Road Supervisor to manage several projects ensuring that it is moving in the right direction. The Road Supervisor will have experience on managing teams and not afraid to get hands-on with the projects.

The successful candidate will need to be flexible in regards to travel.

 

Road Supervisor Key Responsibilities:

  • Regularly report into Senior Management with updates on progress of the projects
  • Manage site teams effectively and efficiently, ensuring each site member is well informed on their duties
  • Ensure all site team members receive full training and site inductions
  • Order in materials and equipment as and when required
  • Ensure materials and equipment are managed correctly
  • Carry out regularly meetings, raising any potential problems and how best to overcome those situations
  • Liaise with clients and local authorities
  • Ensure all paperwork is maintained correctly and sent to Head Office
  • Maintain Health and Safety throughout site
  • Maintain high quality standards, ensuring that each project is finished to perfection
  • Complete any other duties as and when required

 

Required Qualifications/Experience:

  • Background in Civil Engineering or Roads
  • 1 years’ plus experience in a similar position
  • Experience in working on road projects
  • Proven track record of managing site teams
  • Excellent communicator and able to work within a team
  • Excellent Numeracy skills and confident in using Microsoft Office
  • Full Driving License
