Sales/Business Developer- Meath
The Company
A construction company going for 40 years, currently in the market for somebody to help promote and grow their business. They have an excellent reputation in the local market and have put together a growth strategy for the next 2 years.
This role is ideally suited to someone with a construction sales background and an enthusiasm for business development.
The appointed Area Sales Manager will assume responsibility for:
- Selling our client’s range of products
- Business Development seeking and securing new projects
- Selling directly to main and sub-contractors and (back) via merchant base
- Proactively identifying and closing new business opportunities to increase market share
- Developing profitable and enduring relationships with existing customers
- Providing technical support and applications advice to all customers
- Representing the business at trade shows and industry exhibitions
Applicants will be expected to demonstrate:
- A minimum of three years success in a construction sales role
- A strong network of contacts among contractors, merchant, architects, specifiers and surveyors
- Proven ability to meet and exceed KPI, revenue and margin targets
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- The physical capacity to carry out surveys and inspections on site (invariably rooftops)
