Senior Civil Engineer – Dublin
INFORM3 are seeking to appoint a Senior Engineer on a large commercial project in Dublin. The client has over 30 years’ experience within the construct industry. They have won awards for the Health and Safety displayed on site and also for the quality of each project completed.
The client is seeking a Senior Civil Engineer to mentor Civil Engineers and supervise site works. The successful candidate should have previous experience in setting out, surveying and working on civil projects that involve groundworks, earthworks and utilities.
Senior Civil Engineer Responsibilities:
- Report into the Project and Contracts Manager
- Mentor Civil Engineers, checking setting out
- Complete (when needed) setting out and surveying
- Ensure site works are in line with drawings and specifications
- Supervise direct and sub-contractor staff
- Attend Site Meetings
- Attend Health & Safety briefings
- Conduct Toolbox talks
- Ensure staff receive site inductions
- Adhere to Health & Safety whilst on site
- Assist in managing traffic on and off site
Senior Civil Engineer Specification:
- Civil Engineering Degree
- 5-7 years’ experience in a similar position
- Experience in Setting Out and Surveying
- Experience in working on Civil projects
- Excellent organisation and communication skills
- Team player, who has the ability to self-start and work independently
- Full driving licence
