Senior Civil Engineer
Job Location: Dublin Port

INFORM3 are currently recruiting a Senior Civil Engineer for a large Civils Contractor undertaking a large project in Dublin Port.

The successful candidates will receive an excellent package and genuine career progression.

 

Senior Engineer Responsibilities:

  • Report into the Project Manager
  • Regularly check the Site Drawings and Specifications, and check setting out is completed correctly
  • Manage Junior Engineers and Site Staff, ensuring there is a regular line of communication  
  • Be the main point of contact for all technical queries
  • Assist in any emergency situation on site
  • Manage and plan Plant, Machinery and Equipment
  • Ensure all staff adhere to Health & Safety regulations
  • Complete site works to a high-quality standard
  • Maintain the Site Diary and Site Paperwork
  • Complete Toolbox Talks with site teams
  • Ensuring all staff receive site inductions
  • Attend Site Meetings
  • Manage traffic on site
  • Liaise with Clients / Consultancies / the Public
  • Provide reports to Senior Management

 

Senior Engineer Specification:

  • Civil Engineer Degree
  • 4 years plus experience in a similar role
  • Strong Communicator
  • Able to multi-task and highly organised
  • Able to work within a team and individually
  • Experience working on civil projects
  • Setting out knowledge
  • Confident in using Microsoft Office
  • Full driving licence
