Senior Civil Engineer – Dublin

 

 

INFORM3 are looking to appoint a Senior Engineer for a RC Frame project based in Dublin. The successful candidate will work on behalf of a client with a continuous record in producing projects that are on time and to the highest standard. The client has over 15 years’ specialist experience in Concrete Formwork and is known for their innovation in the industry. The successful candidate needs to be a good communicator and have the ability to coordinate with site management and the client when appropriate.

 

 

Senior Civil Engineer Responsibilities:

  • Develop the contract programme - establishing sequence and timing of operations necessary for the completion of the work and ensure all necessary resources are in place
  • Extensive experience of engineering, able to oversee structural activity and keep it in line with company procedures.
  • Ensure all relevant information is collated, reviewed and actioned at regular contract review meetings.
  • Attend client/consultant meetings, prepare and respond to the requirements of the meeting to ensure
  • Management of junior engineers
  • Management of sub-contractors, labourers and onsite staff
  • Delivery of and compliance with, quality and health and safety procedures and legislation requirements
  • Capable of working on complex projects with min supervision
  • Experience in working in a fast paced and intense environment
  • Experience in managing quality system
  • Support all business objectives
  • Traffic management
  • Check and understand all drawings and specification. Ensure that any errors/omissions are formally communicated to the design team in timely manner.

 

Candidate Specification:

  • Civil Engineer background, 3-4 years’ experience in working within the construction industry
  • Excellent organizational communication skills
  • Team player, who has the ability to self-start and work independently
  • Full driving licence
  • Strong numeracy and IT skills including MS Office, Word and Excel
  • RC Frame experience
