The Company:

Are you an experienced Senior Contracts Manager with experience and understanding of Mechanical & electrical design? Then this is the role for you.

This role requires an individual with extensive experience in the Mechanical & Electrical sector, with a strong background on all aspects of projects from inception through to completion.

The successful applicant will be able to demonstrate evidence of procuring, managing and the handover of projects and developing effective management plans, client management, financial management ensuring that projects are delivered on time, to budget and with quality.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Project manage all aspects of water and wastewater pumping and treatment installations primarily focused on Mechanical/Electrical/ICA requirements with minor civil works included.
  • Review tender submissions and develop plan for contract delivery.
  • Take the lead on contract design, considering innovative solutions and opportunities for off- site manufacture.
  • Lead & mentor a team of engineers in the delivery of new & existing contracts.
  • Monitoring project programmes for multiple contracts.
  • Co-ordinating regular contract review meetings with the contracts team.
  • Liaising & co-ordinating all works with the client and relevant stakeholders.
  • Ensuring procedures are in place which facilitate the safe delivery of contracts.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years’ experience as a Contracts Manager.
  • Experience in mechanical & electrical design and ability to review and interpret specifications.
  • Knowledge and understanding of various process designs in the Water/Wastewater Sector.
  • Must have experience in large scale projects.
  • Proven experience in delivery of projects with strong emphasis on Health & Safety.
  • Strong problem solving and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to read, understand and create contractual requirements, scope objectives and financial reports.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Products.
