Job Title – Senior Contracts Manager

Project –Residential Sector

Job Location – Cork  

Salary – €100K - €120K plus package   

About the Company

Working with a leading Main Contractor with a reputation for delivering interesting residential projects across Cork City and County.   

They require a strong Contracts Manager who has a background in residential construction on high value and high-volume projects (300+ units) to oversee a flagship projects 

The Role

• Successfully manage the delivery of a largescale residential development from preconstruction stages through to handover to client.
• Develop, update and monitor the project program.
• Coordinate and monitor and review construction drawings, specifications and work requirements.
• Work along the design team to plan works for new projects.
• Report to and support the Construction Director, Architect, Commercial Team and Clients.
• Direct and Manage personnel, site staff and subcontractors and manage and coordinate weekly progress meetings, workshops and plan actions.
• Monitor construction to ensure quality of work and coordinate and liaise with Project Manager, Site Engineers and Service Coordinators to ensure all personnel have accurate and timely information.
• Oversee multiple projects at a time

Requirements

• Degree in Construction Management or similar (Third level qualification) is essential.
• A minimum of 5 years’ experience as a Contracts Manager/ Senior Project Manager
• Must have worked on projects over 300 units
• Proven experience of overseeing high value residential projects from concept through to completion.
• Ability to effectively manage site programme and associated schedules to required deadlines.
• Experience managing multiple subcontractors and projects at a time.
• Thorough knowledge of computer and database applications such as Microsoft Office and Project/PowerPoint with Excellent IT skills and good digital and visual presentational skills.
