Senior Design Technician

Our client is a dynamic market leader in the fit-out arena and currently require a Senior Design Technician to join their team.  Their name is synonymous with quality and have worked on numerous high-profile projects in Ireland and further afield.  This role offers an excellent opportunity to join a company that are undergoing unprecedented growth and a real opportunity for career progression.

Candidate must be able to:

• Produce detailed Joinery production drawings in 2D and 3D AutoCAD
• Co-ordinate all production drawings with other trades and suppliers
• Create RFI lists for each project and update regularly
• Deal with clients, architects and colleagues in a professional efficient manner
• Assist with site surveys
• Produce material take off’s and detailed supplier drawings where necessary.
• Control flow of documents for each project ensuring proper record keeping
• Identify and document contract and scope variations where applicable
• Adhere to standard practices and procedures at all times

Senior Design Technician Requirements:

• At least 5 years’ experience in a similar role
• Have strong attention to detail
• Have a great positive attitude
• Have knowledge of materials used within the industry.
• Have an understanding about manufacturing processes.
• Have a great positive attitude
