Senior Engineer – Cork
INFORM3 are seeking to appoint Senior Engineer for civil projects within the Cork area. The successful candidate will have a number of years’ experience working independently and be able to resolve problems whilst under pressure. The client has over 25 years of experience in the civil engineering industry and has a highly experience team with a vast set of skills and knowledge.
Senior Engineer Responsibilities:
- Report to Senior Management regarding site progress
- Manage Junior Engineers and the Site team
- Oversee structural activity and keep it in line with company procedures
- Check site drawings, ensuring work is in line with specifications and completed to a high level of quality
- Coordinate the site team ensuring they have received clear communication on their duties
- Manage the plant, machinery and equipment
- Ensure site materials are used efficiently
- Knowledge of safety and environmental legislation
- Traffic management
- Complete the site diary and other relevant paperwork
- Attend and lead site meetings, discussing any relevant issues and solutions
- Complete any other duties as and when required
Senior Engineer / Project Manager Specification:
- Civil Engineer background
- 5 years plus relevant experience
- Setting Out and Surveying experience
- Experience in managing Civil Teams
- Able to communicate clearly and effectively
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent Numeracy Skills
- Confident in the use of the Microsoft Package
- Full Driving License
