Senior Engineer / Site Agent – Greater Belfast
INFORM3 are looking to appoint a Senior Engineer / Site Agent, for roads and civil projects in the Greater Belfast area. The client is widely recognised Civil Engineering Contractor with more than 40 years of experience in the construction industry. The client is seeking a highly experienced Senior Engineer or Site Agent to manage and supervisor several projects and site teams.
Senior Engineer / Site Agent Key Responsibilities:
- Report to the Project Manager regularly
- Review Site drawings and Specifications
- Coordinate Site Engineers and site teams, inspecting site works to ensure it is to a high standard
- Ensure health & safety regulations are met and adhered too at all times
- Coordinate Plant, Equipment and materials – ordering additional stock when necessary
- Provide assistance in emergency situations
- Attend Site Meetings, discussing any technical issues on site
- Coordinate Site Inductions and Toolbox talks
- Liaising with Clients / Consultancies and the Public when needed
- Provide progress reports to the Project Manager
- Assist in managing traffic on site
Senior Engineer / Site Agent Specification:
- Civil Engineer Degree
- 4 + years’ experience in a similar role
- Good working knowledge of civils practices and regulations
- Experience of managing site teams
- Confident in using Excel and Microsoft Word
- Previous experience working on a variety of civil projects
- Full Driving license
