Senior Engineer – Ireland
INFORM3 are recruiting a Senior Engineer to work on a variety of civil projects predominantly in Dublin and Cork with some travel to Galway. The successful candidate will work with a client that is well known throughout the Civil Engineering industry and has a long-standing history in construction. The client is seeking a candidate that has knowledge of setting out, able to supervise and manage structural activity on various projects.
Senior Engineer Responsibilities:
- Liaise with the Project Manager
- Regularly review site drawings and specifications
- Manage and coordinate Junior Engineers
- Coordinate Site staff
- Coordinate Plant, Machinery and Equipment
- Order in materials when necessary
- Adhere to Health & Safety at all times
- Conduct Site inductions when appropriate
- Attend Site Meetings
- Assist in managing traffic on site
- Provide reports to the Project Manager
- Assist in emergency situations
Senior Engineer Specification:
- Civil Engineer Degree
- 5 years plus relevant experience
- Setting Out Experience
- Excellent organisation and communication skills
- Team player, who has the ability to self-start and work independently
- Able to use Microsoft Office
- Full driving licence
