Senior Engineer – Limerick
INFORM3 are recruiting a Senior Engineer for a roads project in Limerick. The successful candidate will work on behalf of a large civil engineering contractor with a number of years’ experience and knowledge within the construction industry. The client is seeking a candidate who is experienced in civil projects particularly roads and is able to manage Junior Engineers.
Senior Engineer Responsibilities:
- Report to the Project Manager
- Oversee structural activity and keep it in line with company procedures.
- Regularly review site drawings and specifications
- Mentor Junior Engineers, checking their setting out of site is accurate
- Assist in coordination of various site teams
- Coordinate Plant, Machinery and Equipment
- Order in materials
- Assist in emergency situations
- Coordinate toolbox talks
- Carry out site inductions
- Attend Site Meetings
- Assist in managing traffic on site
- Liaise with Clients / Consultancies / Public when necessary
Senior Engineer Specification:
- Civil Engineer Degree
- 4 years plus relevant experience
- Setting Out Experience
- Experience supervising various civil projects
- Excellent organisation and communication skills
- Able to use Microsoft Office
- Excellent eye for detail
- Full driving licence
