Senior Engineer – Cork
INFORM3 are recruiting a Senior Engineer, to complete road projects in Cork. The client is a large building and civil engineering contractor that is seeking to grow their team. The client is a great number of years within the construction industry and has a highly knowledgeable team.
The client is seeking a Senior Engineer with a civils background who has previous experience setting out and managing site teams.
Senior Engineer Responsibilities:
- Report into the Project Manager
- Review Site Drawings and Specifications
- Ensure the site is set out with great accuracy
- Manage Junior Engineers
- Coordinate various site teams and sub-contractors
- Ensure all work is completed to a high standard
- Liaise with the client / consultancies / public when needed
- Coordinate Traffic on site
- Coordinate Plant, Machinery and Equipment
- Order materials when needed
- Adhere to Health & Safety at all times
- Attend Site Meetings
- Attend Site Management meetings
Senior Engineer Specification:
- 4 plus years’ experience in Civil Engineering
- Experience in setting out
- Experience working on roads, earthworks, services etc
- Team player, who has the ability to self-start and work independently
- Motivated to grow and learn
- Full driving licence
