Job Title – Senior Engineer
Project – Residential Development
Job Location – North Dublin
Salary – €55K - €65K
About the Company
Working with Top Tier property developer who specialise in residential developments across Leinster. Projects range in value from €30M to €160M. This role is for a new build apartment development. RC Experience is essential.
The Role
- Checking and Monitoring works as required for the project and ensuring all works are completed in line with project drawings specifications and building regulations.
- Liaise and manage sub-contractors and personnel on site in in the planning and construction of the project.
- Support the Site Manager/ Contracts Manager to ensure works are completed as per programme and to a high standard within a restricted budget.
- Maintain excellent relationships with the construction management team, subcontractors and site personnel.
- Delegate works at the beginning of the day and check progress throughout.
- Drive and motivate team members to increase productivity and ensure works are completed on time and to a high standard.
- Manage a team of engineers to ensure works are completed as per programme and to a high standard.
- Work closely with the design team and architects to overcome any structural or architectural problems that may arise during construction.
- Supervise works and check the quality of works to ensure they are of a high standard.
Requirements
- A Degree in Engineering or related discipline.
- Must have experience with high rise RC structures.
- Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in an engineering role.
- Ability to manage a team of engineers, junior engineers and various trades to ensure works are on par with building drawings.
- Thorough knowledge of computer and database applications such as Microsoft Office and Project/PowerPoint.
