Job Title – Senior Engineer

Company Overview:
My client serves as a prominent Main Contractor within the industry, specializing in residential ventures throughout Ireland. With an increasing workload, they are looking to expand their core team in Ireland. Presently, they have several openings for Senior Engineer roles on various Irish projects. The chosen candidate will have the opportunity to contribute to distinctive commercial developments in the Cork vicinity.
Position Description:
• Execute the necessary setting out and inspections as required by the project, ensuring adherence to project drawings, specifications, and building regulations.
• Collaborate with site sub-contractors and personnel during project planning and construction phases.
• Interpret and analyze project drawings effectively.
• Assist the Site Manager and Senior Engineer in maintaining work alignment with schedules and quality expectations.
• Foster strong relationships with the construction management team, subcontractors, and site staff.
Requirements:
• Possession of a degree in Engineering or Construction Management.
• Minimum of 5 years' post-graduate experience with a major contractor in the UK or ROI.
• Ideally, prior involvement in projects involving Concrete Structures.
• Proficiency in using setting out instruments is indispensable, including adeptness in all aspects of set out, survey & level, and temporary works coordination.
• Comprehensive familiarity with computer and database applications, such as Microsoft Office, Project, and PowerPoint.
