Senior Engineer – Northern Ireland
INFORM3 are looking to appoint a Senior Engineer, for projects based in Northern Ireland. The successful candidate will work for a Civil Engineering Contractor with a number of years’ experience in the construction industry. The client is seeking Senior Engineers to supervise Junior Engineers and Site Staff, being the point of contact for any technical queries.
Senior Engineer Responsibilities:
- Report to Senior Management
- Oversee structural activity and keep it in line with company procedures.
- Provide regular reports
- Complete inspection reports
- Management of Junior Engineers
- Management of sub-contractors, labourers and onsite staff
- Knowledge of health and safety legislation
- Ensure compliance of Health and Safety on site from staff
- Resolve any technical queries
- Oversee setting out and surveying
- Traffic management
- Attend and lead Site meetings
- Complete any other duties as and when required
Candidate Specification:
- Civil Engineer background
- 4 - 5 years plus relevant experience
- Setting Out Experience
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Excellent leadership skills
- Full driving licence
