Salary €60,000 - €65,000
About the Company
Family run company going strong over 20 years. With an impressive client base and new successful tenders on the horizon, they are quickly becoming one of the main contractors in and around Dublin and surrounding areas. They are currently on the lookout for a strong site engineer to oversee all the setting out and managing sub-contractors. This would be a full-time role with plenty of projects on the ground
The Role
- Reporting to Project Manager
- Lead engineer on site
- Levelling the site and setting out using Robotic total stations
- Ensure that all materials used and work performed are in accordance with the specifications
- liaise with any consultants, subcontractors, supervisors, planners, quantity surveyors and the general workforce involved in the project
- Assist with General admin, management of all staff on site
- Able to carry out and instruct in Setting out and levelling the site
- Comply with safety regulations on all equipment and health and safety regulations of the site
- Accurate record keeping and ability to interpret drawings and specifications essential
- Excellent company to grow and learn from.
Requirements
- 4 years experience
- Setting out experience is essential with use of various equipment including GPS and total station
- Main contractor experience preferred but not essential
- 3rd level qualification in relevant field, or equivalent
- Computer literate
- Full understanding of design drawings
- Clean driving licence
- Full Safety Qualifications
- A can-do attitude
