About the Company
Very reputable top tier contractor based in Northern Ireland, however has a lot of work on the ground in Mainland UK and is looking to enhance their management team on site. This contractor carries out large commercial projects valued from £10M - £100M
The Role
- Overview all setting out and levelling the site
- Comply with safety regulations on all equipment
- Candidates must possess ability to work on own initiative
- Accurate record keeping and ability to interpret drawings and specifications essential
- Give valuable feedback of selection of site personnel, subcontractors etc
- Attend meetings with clients, subcontractors and consultants and ensure all requirements are actioned
- Encourage safety on site and comply with company procedures and ensure the work is to a good standard without snags
- Liaise with management on site
Job Requirements
- Site management on Projects over €10M
- Experience with main contractors are essential
- 5+ Yrs Experience site engineering and project management experience desirable
- Third level qualification in Engineering or related discipline.
- Knowledge of construction techniques - competent in all aspects of set out, survey & level, temporary works co-ordination.
- Computer literate and familiar with MS office, project, (or similar scheduling package)
- Should be proficient in AutoCAD
- Setting out and use of robotic total station, EDM’s, laser levels etc
