Job Title – Senior Engineer
Project – RC Frame, Post Tension Slabs, PT Design
Job Location – Mainland UK
Salary – £50K - £60K plus package
About the Company
Tier 1 Contractor with one of the largest UK Turnovers. Specialise in Design & Build projects across NI, ROI and Mainland UK valued up to £300M
This project requires a strong Senior Engineer with a background in technical, city centre RC Frame projects. Experience with PT Designs and post tension slabs is essential. As well as experience calling off.
Fortnightly Travel is required for this role – all travel expenses covered by the business.

The Role
- Checking works as required for the project and ensuring all works are completed in line with project drawings specifications and building regulations and completed to a high standard.
- Liaise and manage sub-contractors and personnel on site in in the planning and construction of the project.
- Work closely with Project Manager and Design Teams to overcome any issues that may arise during construction effectively and with the least disruption to the program.
- Support the Project Manager/ Contracts Manager to ensure works are completed as per programme and to a high standard.
- Maintain excellent relationships with direct construction management team, subcontractors and site personnel.
- Manage a team of engineers to ensure works are completed as per programme and to a high standard.
Requirements
- A Degree in Engineering, Construction Management or related discipline.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in an engineering role with a Main Contractor in the UK or ROI.
- Experience working on new build RC Frame developments and ideally PT Concrete Slabs.
- Ability to use setting out instruments is essential and being competent in all aspects of set out, survey & level, temporary works co-ordination.
- Thorough knowledge of computer and database applications such as Microsoft Office and Project/PowerPoint.
